The Environmental League of Massachusetts Action Fund PAC has endorsed Representative Diana DiZoglio of Methuen in the election for the 1st Essex State Senate district, a credit to her commitment to the environment.
“Representative DiZoglio has proven in her time as a Representative that she will fight for clean air, water, and parks for her constituents and the rest of the Commonwealth.” stated ELM Action Fund Executive Director Joe O’Brien.
“Representative DiZoglio will continue to be a strong advocate for the Massachusetts environment in the State Senate,” said ELM Action Fund President Elizabeth Henry. “We need strong leaders like her in the State House who understand that we can have both a strong economy and a healthy environment.”
"Should I have the honor of serving as State Senator for the 1st Essex District, I will continue to strongly advocate for environmental causes, including legislative measures to protect our land, water and public health; address climate change; reduce the use of toxic chemicals; and promote recycling in the Merrimack Valley and across the Commonwealth," said Representative DiZoglio. "Thank you to the Environmental League of Massachusetts for your endorsement and for your critical leadership in raising awareness around environmental sustainability."
Prior to her election to serve the 14th Essex District as State Representative, Representative DiZoglio worked for multiple non-profit, community based organizations and was a small business owner. She worked as a legislative aide in the House of Representatives before accepting a position as chief-of-staff to Edward A. Kelly, president of the Professional Fire Fighters of Massachusetts (PFFM).
