The Environmental League of Massachusetts Action Fund today endorsed Solomon Goldstein-Rose who is running in the Democratic Primary for State Representative in the 3rd Hampshire District.
“We are endorsing Solomon Goldstein-Rose because of his strong commitment to addressing environmental issues both in his district and across the Commonwealth. He understands the importance of our state investing in clean energy, sustainable transportation and parks to help address climate change, create jobs, and build healthier communities,” stated ELM Action Fund Political Director Joe O’Brien.
“I'm excited and grateful to have the ELM Action Fund’s endorsement. I share with their members a vision for making Massachusetts a center for clean energy and climate solutions, and I look forward to working with the environmental community on state legislation in the coming years,” stated Goldstein-Rose.
Solomon Goldstein-Rose is running in the Democratic Primary on Thursday, September 8th for the seat currently held by State Representative Ellen Story, who has announced her retirement. You can learn more about his campaign by visiting his web site at solomonforrep.org/.
The ELM Action Fund helps pass laws that protect our environmental legacy, holds our elected officials accountable and works to help build the political power of the environmental community. This fall the ELM Action Fund will be working to educate and mobilize voters in key legislative races across the state.
Last fall, the ELM Action Fund and the national League of Conservation Voters launched a new affiliation and an aggressive plan to flex the environmental community’s policy muscle in Massachusetts.
